With the opening of the SFJAZZ Center, we are delighted to announce a number of educational programs designed for children and adults, aspiring musicians and experienced singers and instrumentalists.

These affordably priced family-friendly concerts are a great way for you to pass your love of jazz onto the next generation. Bring the kids, the grandkids, and the neighbor’s kids to the gorgeous new SFJAZZ center for an engaging, entertaining and interactive musical experience.

Tuesdays, May 7 - May 28, 7PM-8:30PM • Jazz Heritage Center
4-class series
Highlights the rich tradition of extraordinary jazz and blues musicians in the Bay Area featuring distinct renowned guest artists each week.

A community ensemble for advanced level musicians ranging in age from 14 to 75, directed by multi instrumentalist, bandleader and composer Adam Theis. This 12-week program highlights classic to contemporary jazz arrangements as well as original repertoire composed by the students themselves, and each session culminates in a free public performance at the beautiful SFJAZZ Center Miner Auditorium.
