The 21st Century has been a fruitful period for the heralded
pianist-composer Andrew Hill. Dusk, his first album in ten years,
was released in 2000, and 2005’s critically adored album
Time Lines marked both his return to the Blue Note label
and a reunion with trumpeter Charles Tolliver. This double bill
also features guitarist and current Wilco member Nels Cline,
whom
Guitar Player proclaimed as “one of the few players
brave enough and phenomenally talented enough to shatter the
assumption that everything has been done before.” Cline
and his cohorts will draw from Hill's entire songbook for their
