Ladysmith Black Mambazo Thursday, March 11, 7:30PM Congregation Sherith Israel A South African institution, Ladysmith Black Mambazo sparks a gentle fire to stir passions and lift sunken spirits. The all-male a cappella group began in the early ‘60s and finally broke through in the U.S. on Paul Simon’s Graceland album. They have since become global ambassadors for post-apartheid South Africa, winning three Grammys in the process. event page
