SFJAZZ Family Matinees are specially priced afternoon performances featuring artists in shorter programs that give families with children a chance to experience this world-class music firsthand.

Matinees involve commentary by the performers as well as Q & A sessions in whichaudience members of all ages are invited to ask the artists about their instruments, music, and about their lives as musicians. Children are welcome!

• $5 child (under 12) & Senior (65 & over)
• $10 adult discount (accompanying child/senior)
• $15 standard adult ticket (not accompanying child/senior)

All family matinee attendees must have a ticket (except for children under 2 yrs).  The $10 adult discount price is for any adults attending the show with children or seniors.  Adults attending the show not accompanied by children or seniors pay the $15 price.  For example, a family of three with two adults and one child over 2 yrs would purchase one $5 child ticket and two $10 adult discount tickets.
