Institutional Support
Institutional and Government Support
Private and corporate foundations, together with government agencies, such as the National Endowment for the Arts, are key partners in SFJAZZ’s success. Grants from these partners not only provide us with critical general operating support, but they also support individual SFJAZZ programs, such as the Jazz in the Middle residency program that integrates jazz music with classroom curricula, and the SFJAZZ Collective, our resident all-star ensemble.
We work closely with our foundation and government supporters to identify opportunities that will enable them to best meet their giving priorities. Moreover, we recognize these funding partners in printed and electronic materials as appropriate.
