As a member of SFJAZZ’s Development team, the Corporate Sponsorship Manager works closely with the Director of Development to develop a strategy to attract and maintain corporate sponsorship gifts, including cash sponsorships of $1,000 and above, and in-kind sponsorships. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Corporate Sponsorship Manager will execute all aspects of the plan, including research and identification of prospects; cultivation and relationship management for the portfolio; proposal development and solicitation; and overseeing benefits fulfillment of all sponsorship agreements. The Manager is also responsible for the promotion of SFJAZZ’s Corporate Sponsorship programs, income reconciliation, and budget management.

As a member of SFJAZZ's Development staff, the Leaders Circle Manager plays a critical role in increasing
individual donor support. He/she is responsible for overseeing the solicitation of annual Leaders Circle gifts
between $1,200 and $5,000 and annual gifts earmarked to SFJAZZ Education. The Leaders Circle Manager
reports to the Major Gifts Officer and provides direct support for all major gifts initiatives.
The SFJAZZ Center opened in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley in January 2013. In anticipation of this new
venue designed specifically for jazz performance and creation, the SFJAZZ membership has doubled in size.
The Membership Manager plans and directs all aspects of the annual giving program for gifts under $1,200,
including implementation of renewal and acquisition campaigns, fulfillment of member benefits, marketing
and promotion of member programs, campaign analysis and reporting, and budget management. The
Membership Manager will also play an essential role in ensuring the Development Department continues to
meet Annual Fund goals by cultivating Members towards major gift potential.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Art Director is responsible for brand management for SFJAZZ, design, production and project management of advertising (online, print and broadcast), collateral development, merchandise design, and environmental graphics from concept to completion. This is a strong hands-on position requiring a positive attitude, strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, clear understanding of and experience in branding, the ability to work in a team environment, the talent to create compelling and appropriate design solutions, and the discipline to manage large projects responsibly. This position oversees the work of 3 fulltime staff: designer, marketing production manager and web designer.
