The Human Resources Generalist will oversee HR functions for a staff of approximately 100 full and part time employees. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Finance to drive initiatives that are in line with HR strategy, organization’s strategic priorities, and core values. The position is responsible for maintaining & implementing personnel policies and procedures, recruitment, orientation, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, retirement plan, leaves of absence, workers compensation, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The Donor Services Assistant - Solicitations reports to the Associate Director of Membership & Donor Services, and provides assistance to the full Development Department in making sure the Donor Services operation runs smoothly and meets growth goals outlined in organizational planning. While based in the SFJAZZ fundraising department, this position is also an excellent introduction to direct marketing techniques and principles.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is the core staff person responsible for securing and maintaining funding from corporations through sponsorship and events. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will design and execute all aspects of the organization’s corporate sponsorship fundraising efforts including sales, solicitations and implementation of sponsorships. The manager also generates prospect research, proposals and oversees budget administration.
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer is responsible for brand management for SFJAZZ, design, production and project management of advertising (online, print, digital and broadcast), collateral development, merchandise design, and environmental graphics. This is a hands-on position requiring a positive attitude, organizational and communication skills, clear understanding of and experience in branding, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, the talent to create compelling and appropriate design solutions, and the discipline to manage multiple large projects responsibly. This person works collaboratively with another Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department.
The Marketing Department seeks a Web Producer to assume full responsibility for all aspects of SFJAZZ’s website including the design and production of web page layouts; to update and maintain the content; and to provide advice & ideas on site development and site structure to colleagues across the Organization. This position is an integral element of the Marketing department. The Web Producer works in close collaboration with the Graphic Design team and Digital Marketing Coordinator to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards and communications throughout SFJAZZ’s website, on coding of web page layouts, as well as maintenance and continuous content updates that integrates SFJAZZ’s growing social media platforms. As a team they must provide strong support to the online communication needs of both the Development and Education Departments. Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The Education Administrative Assistant supports the Education Department with multiple tasks
directly affecting day to day operations. Must be able to multi-task, be thoroughly organized,
detail-oriented and deadline driven. Excellent computer skills needed; must be able to work
independently and with limited input.
