Renee Rosnes Open Soundcheck, 11/8

As part of the SFJAZZ Collective Solo Spotlight Residency program, SFJAZZ Members will enjoy exclusive access to Collective pianist Renee Rosnes’ Open Soundcheck at Herbst Theatre prior to her double-bill performance on Thursday, November 8, with fellow Collective member and jazz sax legend Joe Lovano. Beginning at 5:15 p.m., the event will include a brief talk in the Herbst lobby by SFJAZZ technical staff, followed by the musicians’ soundcheck. Rosnes will also share insights into her music and field Members’ questions.

The Soundcheck is open to all SFJAZZ Members—including those who have not purchased tickets to the 7:30 p.m. concert. Open Soundcheck attendees wishing to buy tickets for the Rosnes/Lovano concert can do so at the Herbst box office beginning at 6:00 p.m. To make a reservation, please call 415-398-5655 x125.
