SFJAZZ High SChool ALL-STARS ROster Announced Following a rigorous two days of auditions September 8 & 9, 22 of the Bay Area's finest high school jazz musicians were selected to take part in the 2007-2008 SFJAZZ High School All-Stars. // IN MEMORIAM - JOE ZAWINUL (1924-2007)

Legendary jazz keyboardist Joe Zawinul passed away on September 11 at the age of 75. The London Guardian obitiuary calls Zawinul "one of a handful of people who changed the way music sounds.
