The SFJAZZ Center groundbreaking took place on May 17. Giant Steps Members, SFJAZZ donors, community and civic leaders were there for the fun!

San Francisco mayor Edwin Lee, NAACP CEO Benjamin Jealous, actor Terence Howard, SFJAZZ Center Campaign Co-Chair Robert Mailer Anderson, percussionist John Santos and other luminaries spoke at the SFJAZZ Center press conference on May 6.

Comic Dave Chappelle, vocalist Mary Stallings, the SFJAZZ Collective, Latin jazz keyboardist Rebeca Mauleon and the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars tore it up at our Gala on May 6.
