Bernard Boudreaux

Bernard Boudreaux - 1st Term

Bernard is founder and principal of Be Beneficent Consulting, a boutique consulting firm that assists individuals, nonprofits and businesses in addressing social issues within their local communities through action that achieves measurable results.

Bernard retired this year as Co-Director of the Georgetown McDonough School of Business (Georgetown Business for Impact) Program. Prior to joining Georgetown McDonough, Boudreaux was with Target Corporation for over 30 years. He held various leadership positions in corporate responsibility as well as in the merchandising/buying division. In Target’s corporate responsibility division, he oversaw community involvement and volunteerism for local stores and distribution centers coast to coast, initiatives focused on stakeholder engagement, diversity and inclusion, reputation management, and executive level board placement.

Boudreaux has served on the board of directors for numerous nonprofit organizations. Currently, he serves as an advisor for the Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals (ACCP), and for BoardSource.

Boudreaux is a frequent presenter at conferences on the impact and importance of public and private partnerships, and how businesses and nonprofits can work together to improve local communities.
