Michael Lazarus - 2nd Term

Michael Lazarus is a managing partner of LAZCAP, a family office investing in early-stage consumer facing growth companies. Michael was a founding Partner of Main Post Partners, the successor firm to Weston Presidio, a consumer growth equity fund he Co-Founded and was a Managing Partner since its inception in 1991. Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors for Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras and Breeze Airways. He was the founding Chairman of JetBlue Airways, Co-Chairman of Fender Musical Instruments Corp. and served on the Board of Directors for Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Restoration Hardware, Morris Air/Southwest Airlines, Guitar Centers, Inc., Integro, Inc., and Apple American Group (Applebee’s), XenonArc and DISYS, as well as other privately-held growth companies.

Raised in Lancaster, PA, Michael graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Grove City College. Michael is a former Board Chair of SFJAZZ and currently serves as a Trustee of the Frost School of Music. He has served as a Trustee of Bowdoin College and San Francisco Day School.
