Donor Research and Grants Coordinator

The Donor Research and Grants Coordinator supports the Institutional and Individual Giving teams by working towards the strategic goals of the entire Development department. As an integral member of a 14-person department, this person provides high-level background research, demographic analysis and capacity evaluations, and executes a wide range of development research activities to support SFJAZZ’s fundraising programs. Through prospect identification, research and management, data acquisition and analysis, and donor and institutional profile creation, the Donor Research and Grants Coordinator deepens SFJAZZ’s knowledge of its donors and prospects through the systematic identification of potential prospects from bulk screenings and current patron data.

The Donor Research and Grants Coordinator will research, prepare, and provide biographical and financial profiles and reports on potential and identified individuals, foundations, and corporations. This person plays a critical role in developing SFJAZZ’s donor pipeline as well as maintaining systems for prospect, portfolio, and proposal management.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding communicator with demonstrated excellent writing skills and a command of research and database tools. With an energetic drive, professional curiosity, and attention to detail, the Donor Research and Grants Coordinator will have close interaction with the fundraising team in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this position is $69k - $72k annually with full benefits.
