SFJAZZ High School All-Stars

Combo

The High School All-Stars program presents its elite Combo, directed by renowned saxophonist and educator, Dann Zinn. The sextet focuses on writing original compositions and arrangements, along with performing and arranging works by the SFJAZZ Collective. Combo members also take part in exclusive interdisciplinary partnerships and performances with Bay Area arts and science organizations, involving innovative composition and performance techniques.

Comprised of the "best of the best" Bay Area high school students, this small ensemble mirrors the SFJAZZ Collective in instrumentation as well as select repertoire.
