ABOUT THIS CONCERT
The National Endowment for the Arts, in collaboration with SFJAZZ, will honor the 2022 NEA Jazz Masters—Stanley ClarkeDonald Harrison, Jr.Billy Hart, and Cassandra Wilson—and kick off a year-long celebration of the 40th anniversary of the program with a free concert and broadcast at the SFJAZZ Center.

2018 NEA Jazz Master Dianne Reeves will host the concert, which will include performances, video tributes, and remarks. The concert will also feature performances by 2022 honorees Stanley Clarke, Billy Hart, and Donald Harrison, Jr. Additional performers include Jeremiah CollierJoe DysonEthan IversonDan KaufmanSalar NaderNori NaraokaRuslan SirotaBen Street, and Mark Turner, as well as the SFJAZZ CollectiveMatt BrewerEtienne CharlesMartin Luther McCoyGretchen ParlatoChris PotterDavid SánchezKendrick ScottEdward Simon, and Warren Wolf—and Skylar Tang, a 16-year-old trumpeter and a member of the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars.

Since 1982, the National Endowment for the Arts has awarded 165 fellowships to great figures in jazz, including Ella Fitzgerald, Sonny Rollins, Dianne Reeves, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, and George Wein.
