Pianist, composer, iconoclast, and jazz icon Thelonious Sphere Monk has inspired generations of music fans and musicians alike. His indelible compositions are among the most beloved in the jazz pantheon. We look forward to this week's celebration of Monk's birthday, culminating on Monday (10/10) with the Kenny Barron Trio with guest Benny Green on what would have been Monk's 105th birthday.
