Online Writing Workshop

Taking Notes

Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in April

As of March 31, all Taking Notes workshops are full. Thank you for your interest!

Join us in April as we kick off our Premiere Edition of Taking Notes, SFJAZZ’s first ever writing online workshop series for adults. Facilitated by some of the Bay Area’s leading poets, these free workshops combine poetry, music, and the poetic influence of jazz to generate writing that occupies the spirit of jazz. Each series has been especially curated by the facilitators to engage participants with the artists, lyrics, histories, and themes of jazz. The workshops will culminate into a final reading celebration with musical accompaniment by a few special guests. Space is limited. All workshops will be held via Zoom. Please email icezanne@sfjazz.org for more information. Space is limited.
