As we kick off the 2023-24 Season, newly appointed SFJAZZ Executive Artistic Director Terence Blanchard previews some of the upcoming highlights, including opening week with Lizz Wright, Ledisi, and Shakti, this year’s Resident Artistic Directors Julian Lage, Howard Wiley, Kenny Barron, Brandee Younger, and Ravi Coltrane, along with the SFJAZZ Collective celebrating their 20th Anniversary. He also takes us through week-long residencies with Meshell Ndegeocello, Ms. Lisa Fischer with Ranky Tanky, Chucho Valdés and Irakere 50, and much more!
