In honor of Women’s History Month, SFJAZZ Education is pleased to continue a Bay Area tradition of advocacy for emerging female and gender expansive youth with our 10th annual Girls Day workshop! A focus of this special session will highlight the importance of developing musical independence, providing students with tools and techniques to strengthen your musicianship. Joining our amazing faculty for this hands-on session for jazz instrumentalists and vocalists is renowned alto saxophonist and composer Caroline Davis. Whether you are just beginning in your musical journey or are already performing, this workshop is designed to help you cultivate your creativity and independence!
