FREE WORKSHOP!
We are thrilled to host our 11th annual SFJAZZ Girls Day at the SFJAZZ Center! Join celebrated women faculty in this very special session for female and gender expansive youth ages 13-18. The focus of this program will highlight the intricate work that goes into engineering a live sound mix. For this special session we are pleased to partner once again with Women's Audio Mission (WAM) and bring together top Bay Area musicians and experts in the sound arts. The stellar faculty line-up includes acclaimed SFJAZZ/WAM sound engineer and musician Heidi Trefethen, pianist and SFJAZZ Lead Teaching Artist Tammy L. Hall, vocalist Tiffany Austin, saxophonist and band leader/educator Kristen Strom, drummer/band leader Sylvia Cuenca, and bassist Lily Stern.
