No, artist specific concert tickets and reserved seating are not available during the Festival. Only full access VIP & 3-day passes, single-day passes, and venue specific passes are available. If you want to see a specific performance, you’ll need to buy one of the passes that have access to that day and performance.

Reserved seating in SFJAZZ Center’s Miner Auditorium and the Festival Tent is unavailable during the Festival. Even though we do not anticipate any capacity issues, seating availability for both the Miner Auditorium and Festival Tent is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, that VIP ticket holders will exclusively have access to rows F, G, H in SFJAZZ Center’s Miner Auditorium. 

No, patrons can remain in their seats in both Miner Auditorium and the Festival Tent during the changeover in acts. Ticket holders, with access based on level of ticket, will also be to enter Miner Auditorium and Festival Tent at any point during each day’s start and closing time. Seating availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Even though we have done our best to ensure that all ticket holders will have access to every concert that their ticket passes have access to, seating and standing access will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes prior to each concert performance that you would like to see. 

Yes, we have set aside ADA seating for the SFJAZZ Center’s Miner Auditorium & Joe Henderson Lab, and Festival Tent. Upon your arrival at the SFJAZZ Center, be sure to make an usher aware of your ADA request. It’s SFJAZZ’s priority that every ticket holder has a satisfactory experience. 

Patrons with festival ticket passes of any level will have access to the Outdoor Festival Street Market on the days they have passes for. The Outdoor Festival Street Market will be located in the street in front of the Festival Tent on the corner of Franklin St. & Oak St. The market will include food, wine & beer vendors, vinyl swap, jazz photography and art merchants. The Festival Tent will have a full-service bar. We will announce the specific vendors closer to the festival. 

Patrons with festival ticket passes of any level will have access to the SFJAZZ Center Community Art Market on the days they have passes for. Space is very limited, and access will be based on available capacity. 

Yes! We allow in-and-outs in all festival venues and encourage ticket holders to visit surrounding businesses, restaurants, and bars in the neighborhood during the 3-day festival. Important: Please hold on to your wristband for re-entry. Replacement wristbands will cost $20 and will need to show photo ID. We will announce special discounts for festival attendees closer to the June 13-15 event.  

Each Festival ticket level will have a specific wristband that will provide the appropriate access associated with each ticket level. Wristbands will be available to ticket holders during the June 13-15 festival upon entry and will also be made available at the SFJAZZ Center Box Office during the week of May 31-June 8. Extended Box Office hours will take place during this week. 

We will honor the same ticket return policy that we implement during the Annual Season. Tickets purchased for the San Francisco Jazz Festival are non-refundable. We charge a $25 flat fee for ticket returns, which allows a patron to receive ‘Box Office Credit’ for purchasing tickets to future concerts. This fee is waived for all members at the Contributor level ($250/year) and above. Ticket returns are accepted up to 48 hours prior to the Festival.

Parking will be limited in the Hayes Valley Neighborhood, and therefore I strongly encourage Festival attendees to use public transportation. Visit our parking & directions page for recommended nearby parking garages. The closest BART station is Civic Center, and the MUNI Metro Van Ness station is one block from the Festival Tent.
