Carrying on the tradition of the first family of New Orleans R&B, Ivan Neville returns for the first time since his showstopping appearance with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band in 2016, performing a range of music including songs from his newest album Touch My Soul with his hard-grooving band Dumpstaphunk.

Son of singing legend Aaron Neville and nephew to the legendary Neville Brothers, Ivan Neville was a major force in New Orleans music out the gate, scoring a Top 30 hit with the single “Not Just Another Girl” from his 1988 debut album If My Ancestors Could See Me Now.

He has lent his inimitable style to work with Bonnie Raitt, the Rolling Stones, Don Henley, and Delbert McClinton, and formed Dumpstaphunk in 2003 specifically to play at that year's New Orleans Jazz Fest. The band has become Neville’s primary project, releasing five infectious albums including 2021’s Where Do We Go From Here.

With Touch My Soul, Neville makes his first statement as a solo artist in nearly two decades, chock full of sinuous soul and Crescent City funk that celebrates his beloved hometown, with guest appearances by Raitt, Trombone Shorty, Michael McDonald, and Preservation Hall’s Ben Jaffe and Charlie Gabriel.

The dance floor will be open!
