Original show description below.
GRAMMY-nominated pianist and composer Gerald Clayton hails from jazz royalty as the son of esteemed Los Angeles bassist/arranger John Clayton and nephew of alto saxophonist Jeff Clayton. The artist has honed a highly interactive sound woven from a vast array of sonic threads, and for this matinee, he shares some of the exquisite repertoire from his recent Motema Records release, Tributary Tales.
An interactive Family Workshop follows this performance and is FREE to matinee ticket-holders, led by musician, educator and musician Ami Molinelli.
We are grateful to Latin Percussion for their generous support of this workshop!
Each one-hour matinee features live performance, audience participation, Q&A, and amazing music.
