Given the ongoing rise in COVID-19 cases, and the nature of this highly interactive family event, this concert has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2022. All corresponding tickets purchased for the February 12th concert will be honored on the rescheduled date.

Inimitable bassist, bandleader and Bay Area jazz icon Marcus Shelby delights audiences with his inspiring blend of storytelling and powerful music, tracing the legacy of our American cultural identities from the blues to the soundtrack of the Civil Rights era and on to today. Joining Shelby is songstress Tiffany Austin along with a cast of Bay Area heavyweights. 

NOTICE COVID-19 VACCINATION

SFJAZZ requires proof of vaccination against COVID-19 prior to entering the SFJAZZ Center. All patrons must provide proof of having completed the initial course of vaccination, and a government issued photo ID to enter the SFJAZZ Center. (A student ID for people under the age of 18 is acceptable). Prior to entering the SFJAZZ Center, you will be asked to provide proof of vaccination through a QR code generated by a Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record website, or an original physical vaccination card or photograph of it.

Patrons Ages 6-12 Years Old
Proof of vaccination is required for children ages of 6-12 years old, however photo ID is not needed as long as they are accompanied by fully vaccinated parents/guardians with valid photo ID. 

Patrons Ages 5 Years & Younger
Children under the age of 5 years old (for whom there is no currently available vaccine) do not need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. All people, above two years old, must be masked when in the SFJAZZ Center.
