Born on October 10, 1917, Thelonious Sphere Monk stands as one of the most groundbreaking and innovative artists in American music. Radical yet tender, Monk’s music is instantly recognizable, playful, and oh so memorable! We celebrate his 104th birthday with treasured pianist Tammy L. Hall and share some of his most indelible compositions, including “Straight, No Chaser,” “In Walked Bud,” “Reflections” and more.
