ALL SFJAZZ SHOWS AND EVENTS CANCELED THROUGH AUGUST 16

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019–20 Season, including all shows and education events that were previously scheduled from March 11–May 31, the 38th Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival, which was scheduled from June 9–21, and Summer Sessions 2020 which was scheduled from July 9–August 16.

If you have tickets to this show, or any of the canceled shows, we ask you to consider donating your tickets back to SFJAZZ to help us address the immediate needs of SFJAZZ, the artists we serve and the education programs we provide.

The epitome of mastery on the “black and whites,” we pay tribute to some of the reigning queens of jazz piano with powerhouse pianist Tammy L. Hall. From legendary and influential figures such as Lil Hardin Armstrong, Mary Lou Williams, Hazel Scott, and Marian McPartland, to international phenoms including Brazil’s Tania Maria, join us in celebration of some of the world’s great ladies of the 88s!

FAMILY WORKSHOP
An interactive Family Workshop follows this performance and is FREE to matinee ticket-holders, led by musician and Orff music expert Doug Goodkin, and multi-instrumentalist Jackeline Rago. Note: This workshop is limited to a first come, first served basis. Sign up in the lobby before the start of the matinee.

Each one-hour matinee features live performance, audience participation, Q&A, and amazing music.
