A perfect embodiment of this relationship, jazz music has and continues to be influenced by the diversity and traditions of international communities. 2019 takes the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra (SJMO) across the globe to 10 cities, exploring the global tradition and evolution of jazz.
