ALL SFJAZZ SHOWS AND EVENTS CANCELED THROUGH AUGUST 16
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019–20 Season, including all shows and education events that were previously scheduled from March 11–May 31, the 38th Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival, which was scheduled from June 9–21, and Summer Sessions 2020 which was scheduled from July 9–August 16.
If you have tickets to this show, or any of the canceled shows, we ask you to consider donating your tickets back to SFJAZZ to help us address the immediate needs of SFJAZZ, the artists we serve and the education programs we provide.

Step into the SFJAZZ “living room” and hear artists and tastemakers spinning their favorite recordings while in conversation with SFJAZZ Founder and Executive Artistic Director Randall Kline. Listening Parties offer listeners the chance to get behind-the- scenes and hear about music from the artist’s perspective. The format is an on-stage conversation in the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, accompanied by the artist’s pick of recorded, and sometimes live, excerpts. The conversation closes with questions from the audience followed by a reception with the artist.
Join us for a conversation with bassist, composer, Snarky Puppy mastermind, and GroundUP Music founder Michael League. A three-time GRAMMY winner, League also performs and contributes to many of GroundUp's acts including Bokanté, FORQ, Bill Laurance, Banda Magda, and others.
League will discuss his work with Snarky Puppy, Bokanté and his record label GroundUP Music, following Bokanté's two shows in Miner Auditorium May 2-3, 2020. Bokanté' is a dynamic octet that marries the electric blues of Led Zeppelin with Afropop and folkloric Caribbean styles, unified by the soaring vocals of Milika Tirolien.
