The music of Brazil is vast, and Jobim’s place in the musical cannon goes well beyond the staple genres of the samba and bossa nova. For our final class in this series, we take a look at Jobim’s work in theater and film music, as well as his orchestral arranging skills, delving into his diverse compositional palettes. Joining us for this class are special guests Claudia Villela (vocals & perc), Ricardo Peixoto (guitar) and Marcos Silva (piano).
