Free performance: Student ensembles from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music perform compositions from the Kronos Fifty for the Future repertoire—a body of work commissioned explicitly for student and emerging professional ensembles!

For 50 years, San Francisco’s Grammy-winning Kronos Quartet has reimagined and redefined the string quartet experience. This year’s annual festival highlights works from the landmark Kronos Fifty for the Future commissioning and legacy project.

What would happen if we could make a body of incredibly interesting, fun music that could serve the next generation? Through Kronos Fifty for the Future, we are now in the process of filling this need.

David Harrington, Founder, Kronos Quartet
