American folk music and jazz already share much common ground, so it's no surprise the two traditions often blend seamlessly together. With Rosanne Cash again performing music of her father, Johnny Cash, with Ry Cooder at SF's War Memorial Opera House on December 5-6, enjoy a curated "Americana Jazz" playlist, made up almost entirely of artists who've performed at SFJAZZ through the years, or will perform in the coming year.
