Mick Hellman - 2nd Term

Mick is founder, managing partner, and co-CIO of HMI Capital. Before creating HMI Capital, he spent most of his career at Hellman & Friedman, LLC, where he was a managing director and member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Hellman also established Hellman & Friedman’s Hong Kong office in 1992.

He is the former chairman of the Board of Directors of Blackbaud and a former trustee at UC Berkeley Foundation. He is Chair of the Managing Board of HSB, LLC, a board member of the Rosenberg Foundation, and a trustee of the USA Cycling Foundation.

Mr. Hellman received an AB in Economics with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He is also the drummer for the Wreckless Strangers.
