A towering figure in American music, the trumpeter, composer, and arranger achieved fame with his Tijuana Brass, becoming an icon with songs including “A Taste of Honey,” “Tangerine,” and “Love Potion #9.” Over a storied career that reflects the omnivorous talent of a true Renaissance Man, Alpert has earned nine GRAMMYs, fourteen platinum albums, five #1 LPs on Billboard, and a 2006 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in addition to his life as the co-founder of A&M Records, work on Broadway, and as a visual artist. He’s joined by his wife Lani Hall, original vocalist for Sergio Mendes’ Brasil ‘66, performing a unique blend of jazz, standards, and each of their biggest hits.
