The SFJAZZ Event Technician is an entry-level position that provides crucial support to all SFJAZZ Events produced by the Artistic, Education, Development and Rentals departments in addition to assisting the Facilities/Operations department, as needed. This candidate is responsible for insuring high quality; customer service centered event support.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Junior Designer is responsible for brand management for SFJAZZ, design, production of advertising (online, print, digital and broadcast), collateral development, and graphics. This is a hands-on position requiring a positive attitude, organizational and communication skills, clear understanding of and experience in branding, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, the talent to create compelling and appropriate design solutions, and the discipline to manage multiple large projects responsibly. This person works collaboratively with another Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department.
Customer Service Assistant, Box Office
Under the direction of the Box Office Operation Assistant Manager, the Box Office Customer Service Assistant is responsible for acting as a customer service representative and retail and ticket sales assistant at the SFJAZZ Box Office and Store. The ideal candidate for this position is a friendly customer service-oriented individual available five days Tuesday – Saturday who is proficient at multi-tasking and is reliable, punctual and maintains a professional appearance.
Donor Services Assistant
The Donor Services Assistant reports to the Senior Manager, Membership, and provides assistance to the full Development Department in making sure the Donor Services operation runs smoothly and meets growth goals outlined in organizational planning. While based in the SFJAZZ fundraising department, this position is also an excellent introduction to direct marketing techniques and principles.
