Digital Projects Assistant

SUMMARY
The Digital Projects Assistant will work closely with and report to SFJAZZ’s Digital Projects Manager to maintain and grow SFJAZZ’s digital platform. The role will support and refine inter-departmental workflows to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met for all digital projects and product lines. Duties will also extend into SFJAZZ’s media asset management system, radio programming, and music and content licensing. Success in this role requires clear and efficient communication, great attention to detail, and the ability to liaise between different departments, and quickly shift gears and priorities on a daily basis. In addition, this role will assist in the development of new digital products, distribution channels, and third-party partnerships, all to grow SFJAZZ’s digital audience globally. This role will start at 30 hours/week.

SFJAZZ is one of the world’s most popular and important presenters of jazz. The SFJAZZ Center is a beautiful and perfect stage for jazz artists and the community to celebrate the living American art form of jazz. The $64 million dollar Center launched in 2013 and the 38-year-old non-profit organization now delivers distinguished programming and education services from the heart of the San Francisco arts district. The pre-pandemic budget for the organization was over $19 million; 60% derived from ticket sales. During the COVID-19 pandemic, SFJAZZ’s newly launched digital program has enlisted more and retained more than 5,000 new monthly and annual members from all 50 states and around the world.
