The Associate Artistic Manager will, under the leadership of Founder and Executive Artistic Director, Randall Kline, be one of a team responsible for the artistic planning, budgeting, managing and scheduling of all of the SFJAZZ concerts happening each fiscal year in both halls within the Center. The season includes the main season (September to June), The San Francisco Jazz Festival (11 days, mid-June), SFJAZZ Summer Sessions (July – August).

The Donor Services Assistant - Solicitations reports to the Donor Services Manager, and provides assistance to the full Development Department in making sure the Donor Services operation runs smoothly and meets growth goals outlined in organizational planning. While based in the SFJAZZ fundraising department, this position is also an excellent introduction to direct marketing techniques and principles.
The Individual Giving Director is responsible for the design and implementation of giving strategies for all Leaders Circle donors, including donor cultivation and stewardship, marketing, benchmarking, and budget management. The Individual Giving Director will steward their own portfolio of major gift donors, and support organizational leadership in the cultivation of their portfolios. He/she directly supervises a Major Gifts Officer, indirectly supervises a Leaders Circle Manager and works collegially with other staff across the organization. Success requires the motivation to communicate Leaders Circle opportunities internally and externally while creating a strong vision with donors of the impact that their investment will have on jazz music.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Junior Designer is responsible for brand management for SFJAZZ, design, production of advertising (online, print, digital and broadcast), collateral development, and graphics. This is a hands-on position requiring a positive attitude, organizational and communication skills, clear understanding of and experience in branding, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, the talent to create compelling and appropriate design solutions, and the discipline to manage multiple large projects responsibly. This person works collaboratively with another Graphic Designer within the Marketing Department.
The SFJAZZ Lighting Technician is an on-call technical position that provides crucial support to SFJAZZ events. This technician will work under the direction of the Executive Artistic Director, Director of Production, Production Manager and the Lighting Director. This position requires programming knowledge of Grand MA 2 lighting consoles and ETC Gateway and Sensor CE devices.
A part-time position in that reports to SFJAZZ’s Marketing Department, to research and develop a Student Membership program, a trackable “student rush” ticket system, as well as foster and maintain relationships with educators, music programs, organizations and student groups in the Bay Area.
