A tribute to founding alto saxophonist Miguel Zenón during his final year with the SFJAZZ Collective, we have curated this exclusive double CD collection of Miguel’s original compositions for the band, written over his fourteen-year career with the Collective. Comprising thirteen tracks culled from their live recordings, this compilation features performances from the current lineup of the SFJAZZ Collective as well as Joshua Redman, Bobby Hutcherson, Dave Douglas, Joe Lovano, Nicholas Payton, Stefon Harris, Renee Rosnes, Eric Harland, André Hayward, Brian Blade, Avishai Cohen, Josh Roseman, and Robert Hurst.
