To celebrate SFJAZZ’s 40th San Francisco Jazz Festival, we went back into our archive of iconic Ward Schumaker images from the San Francisco Jazz Festival flyers & promotional materials of the early ‘90s, in which the ‘Bassman’ became a symbol for the 1991 summer festival.
