In celebration of John Coltrane's centennial, Terrence Brewer and a host of musical guests explore myriad aspects of Coltrane’s legacy, from his many artistic collaborations and seminal recordings to his profound spiritual awakening and partnership with his wife, pianist and harpist Alice Coltrane. Delving into a treasure trove of material—some of it only recently discovered and released—this Discover Jazz series provides a glimpse into the vast territory of Coltrane’s genius and his many contributions to the jazz continuum.
