Volume 1 of the 3-part series includes 8 selections from the band’s inception in 2004 to the 2011 Season, featuring originals and rearrangements of music by Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, McCoy Tyner, Horace Silver, and Stevie Wonder.
Volume 2 of the 3-part series includes 9 selections highlighting the years from the opening of the SFJAZZ Center in 2013 to the 2022 Season, featuring originals and rearrangements of music by Chick Corea, Joe Henderson, Antônio Carlos Jobim, and Sly & the Family Stone
Volume 3 of the 3-part series features brand new studio recordings, including a 7-part suite inspired by the band’s history.
