Step into the SFJAZZ “living room” and hear artists and tastemakers spinning their favorite recordings while in conversation. Listening Parties offer listeners the chance to get behind-the- scenes and hear about music from the artist’s perspective. The format is an on-stage conversation in the Robert N. Miner Auditorium, accompanied by the artist’s pick of recorded, and sometimes live, excerpts. The conversation closes with questions from the audience followed by a reception with complimentary drinks and bites.
 

This Listening Party features rising star alto saxophonist, bandleader, composer and SFJAZZ 2025-26 Season Resident Artistic Director Immanuel Wilkins in conversation with SFJAZZ Director of Digital, Ross Eustis. Hear insightful stories about Wilkins SFJAZZ residency, including his SFJAZZ Commission piece 'Recitations', his forthcoming album and much more. Don’t miss Immanuel Wilkins live at SFJAZZ, March 26-28.

Listening Parties are complimentary to all current SFJAZZ Members. Ticket(s) must be reserved online. Members may bring one additional guest for free. Premium seating will be reserved for Leaders Circle Members. Also, please note that if you are unable to attend, the Listening Party will be live-streamed.
